Job Description

Scope of Work:
- Thorough implementation of Labour Law compliance
- Licence application/amendment/renewals
- Maintenance of statutory registers, records, notices and returns
- Liaise with Labour, ESI, PF, BOCW and other authorities
- Remittance of statutory payments
- Continuous monitoring of sub-contractor compliance's
- Ensuring nominations under different legislation
- Ensuring exemptions under labour legislations
- Availing benefits under labour legislations for company and workers/ employees
- Educating staff and sub-contractors about various provision of laws and benefits
- Accident coordination activities
- Keep updating self and team members on new labour law amendments and provisions
- Ensure appropriate disciplinary actions being taken for default cases (egs cases of
labour punching malpractices, false representation of personal records by emp or
labourer/contractor
- Keep checks and balances in place by conducting surprise audits at the sites
- Appear in ISO audits to present compliance related records
- Suggest risk management strategies
- Address and resolve employee grievances on compliance matters
- Ability to maintain cordial relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to read, speak and write Marathi, Hindi and English languages
- Be vigilant about the surroundings to gauge compliance violation
- Proven track record of handling crisis situation, ability to perform risk management
and control
- Integrity and professional ethics
- Familiarity with best practices across the industry
- Thorough understanding of the business processes of construction sector
- Ability to explain the laws and benefits to the employees in layman's terms
