Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities
Learn the operation of the software according to your domain (Government Financials)
Produce code to augment current programs and screens
Produce new programs according to accepted standards
Lead both customer and engineering driven projects
Fix customer reported defects
Deploy code to production
Drive projects in an adaptive agile environment
Review code and provide feedback when needed.
Lead new developers as they come on board
Play a key role in the architecture and implementation of next-generation of cloud ERP
Guide developers in their growth in knowledge
Work with QA in program testing
Work and coordinate across multiple departments

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements
Expert level experience in coding in PHP for both backend and frontend development
Heavily experienced in coding in JavaScript and SQL
Understanding of JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, BootStrap, and DataTables
Ability to work in an evolving agile development environment
Able to learn new coding platforms
Experience in leading small development teams
A drive for code completion and delivering on time
Cloud-native (SaaS) development

Nice To Haves
Knowledge of non-profit of government finance accounting
ERP development background in one or more of the following domains: Core Financials
(e.g. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable), Payroll, HR, Utility Billing
Knowledge of platform constructs such as Authentication, Authorization (Access Controls), and Audit Logging
Microsoft Windows Server knowledge (batch and VB scripting)
Experience in Powerhouse 4GL or other 4GL languages

Background Qualifications
BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
8+ years of experience developing the PHP/Javascript/SQL
