Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Learn the operation of the software according to your domain (Government Financials)
Learn current platform (PHP, Jquery, Javascript, AJAX, Bootstrap, Datatables)
Develop complex SQL queries for displaying data in tables, forms, and reports
Produce new and maintain current programs according to set standards
Provide customer, market, and engineering driven development
Document code changes
Work on prescribed tasks and projects
Provide feedback on said tasks and projects assigned
Offer up more efficient means of work within the software and in your position
Work in a collaborative team of engineers
Work with QA in program testing

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:
Expert level experience in coding in PHP for both backend and frontend development
Heavily experienced in coding in JavaScript and SQL
Understanding of JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, BootStrap, and DataTables
Ability to work in an evolving agile development environment
Able to learn new coding platforms
A drive for code completion and delivering on time
Cloud-native (SaaS) development (AWS Experience)

Nice To Haves:
Knowledge of non-profit or government finance accounting
ERP development background in one or more of the following domains: Core Financials
(e.g. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable), Payroll, HR, Utility Billing
Knowledge of platform constructs such as Authentication, Authorization (Access Controls), and Audit Logging
Microsoft Windows Server knowledge (batch and VB scripting)
Experience in Java
Knowledge of Kubernetes and deploying code in containers
Knowledge of secure development with PHP
Hands-on knowledge of DevOps, SRE, and CI/CD practices in a public cloud environment, preferably AWS
